Partnerships
Open Living Culture considers collaborations that sit naturally alongside its interest in rituals, objects, customs, making and gathering. The form and presentation of any partnership should be clear to readers.
Possible collaborations
We may consider clearly labelled partner placements across the site, such as a brand mention or link placement, as well as a commissioned piece or a jointly developed feature. A proposal should explain the subject, intended placement, material involved and any commercial relationship. We decide whether it fits the publication before agreeing to anything.
Clear labelling
Partner material is identified so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial work. Labels are placed where they can be noticed, and we do not disguise promotional material as an ordinary article. A partnership does not entitle a partner to control editorial conclusions.
Starting a conversation
Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. A concise outline of the idea and the kind of placement you have in mind is enough to begin. We do not imply that a request has been accepted until terms and presentation have been agreed.
Ordinary life deserves a closer look
We notice the gestures, objects and customs that can pass without comment, then ask what they mean and how they came to matter.
